Inauguration of Navdurga Puja 2024 at NTPC Korba
Trinetra times Korba The auspicious occasion of Navdurga Puja 2024 was inaugurated today at NTPC Korba, marking the beginning of nine days of devotion and celebration. The ceremony was graced by Shri Rajeev Khanna, Business Unit Head, Korba and Smt. Roli Khanna, President, Maitri Mahila Samiti (MMS) who led the inaugural rituals in the presence of all General Managers and esteemed members of the Maitri Mahila Samiti.
As part of the inauguration, Shri Arnab Maitra, GM (O&M) along with Smt. Kasturi Maitra, Vice-President, Maitri Mahila Samiti; Shri Somnath Bhattacharya, GM (Maint.) along with Smt. Mita Bhattacharya, Vice-President, Maitri Mahila Samiti and Shri M.V. Sathe, GM (ADM) along with Smt. Kirti Sathe, Vice-President, Maitri Mahila Samiti- participated in a ceremonial draping of the Goddess with a traditional red churni, symbolizing their reverence and commitment to the values of faith and community. The event was imbued with devotion as attendees performed the rituals with utmost sincerity and respect.
The Navdurga Puja is not only a celebration of the Goddess but also an opportunity for the NTPC family to come together in a spirit of camaraderie and cultural exchange. Activities planned for the nine days include daily rituals, cultural programs, and community engagement initiatives.
