Senior Women’s Inter-District State Level Football Championship Concludes at NTPC Korba
Trinetra Times Korba The Senior Women’s Inter-District State Level Football Championship 2024-25 kicked off on September 18, 2024, at the Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose Stadium in NTPC Korba Township, concluding on September 20, 2024. The tournament featured an exhilarating showcase of talent, culminating in a thrilling final match between DFA Durg and DFA Bastar, where DFA Durg triumphed with a score of 1-0.
Over the course of the championship, 30 outstanding players from six competing teams were selected for an intensive 21-day coaching camp at NTPC Korba. This camp aims to prepare the athletes for the formation of the Chhattisgarh state football team, which will represent the state in the upcoming national event.
Organized in collaboration with the Chhattisgarh District Football Association, this championship is a significant milestone in NTPC Korba’s commitment to promoting sports excellence and engaging the local community.
