Trinetra times Korba\u00a0<\/strong><\/span> \u00a0The Senior Women\u2019s Inter-District State Level Football Championship 2024-25 commenced today at the Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose Stadium, NTPC Korba Township.<\/p>\n

The opening match featured a thrilling contest between DFA Balod and DFA Bilaspur, where DFA Balod emerged victorious with a commanding score of 6-0. The second match of the day saw DFA Bastar face DFA Bijapur, with DFA Bastar securing an impressive win of 8-0.<\/p>\n

This championship will run from September 17 to September 21, 2024, featuring six teams competing for the top honours in the state women’s category.<\/p>\n

As part of the tournament, 30 talented players will be selected for a coaching camp. From this group, the Chhattisgarh state football team will be formed to participate in the upcoming national event.<\/p>\n

Organized in collaboration with the Chhattisgarh District Football Association, this event marks a significant milestone in NTPC Korba’s ongoing efforts to foster a culture of sports excellence and community engagement.<\/p>\n
